Master planned gated communities have been popular in Las Vegas for a long time. Up until a few years ago, there were so many of these gated communities that there were few other options when shopping for a home. Nowadays, luxury high-rise condos are going up all over town. Most of the condos feature modern architecture and include all of the amenities that you might find in a traditional home and then some.
Turnberry Place is probably the most significant new development is Las Vegas, because many people say that it started the high-rise boom. All residents of Turnberry Place automatically become members of the elite Sterling Club. Its 30,000-square-foot European spa, beauty salon, billiard room, tennis courts and library are just some of the services provided to its members. Another high-rise project named Allure will soon feature two glass towers and house 806 units. Each unit includes marble floors, granite counters, stainless steel appliances and Italian wood cabinets. Allure will also have high-speed elevators, game rooms and a fitness center.
